Set System Currency - New Client Database

Overview

New master databases for clients are set up with the Australian dollar as the system currency. 

You can't create a new system currency, the existing system currency needs to be edited and changed to your system currency.

Please follow this process if your system currency is different, eg US dollars. 

If your system currency is for e.g. USD, please follow this process below to start processing transactions.

Process to Change System Currency

In the example below, we wish to change the system currency to USD. Since USD is already set up, this needs to be changed so the USD can be used in the existing system currency.

Edit and Change the USD to another currency

Select USD and click on edit to change to another currency as you can't have 2 of the same currencies set up.

Change to any currency

You now do not have USD as an additional currency

Change system currency to USD

Select AUD which is the system currency and click on edit

Change system currency to USD

Add AUD as an additional currency if needed

Edit the information on countries and change default currency if required
